
JET New Jersey currently offers 7 Prajna modules, starting with Module 1 and going up to Module 7 plus two other special modules for older kids (10 years and above that can recite slokas clearly) and Teenagers. These two modules are Teenage-1 & 2. All Prajna modules begin with a 20 minute introductory Yoga session.
In addition some centers also offer Language (Telugu, Hindi & Sanskrit) classes and Music & Yoga and Dance (Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam) classes. Please note that not all centers offer all the classes listed here. Only the Cranbury Center offers all classes listed. Please contact the center directly for the schedule and classes offered.

Module 1 – "Towards Excellence"
Overview
This course module leads through basic aspects of our everyday living to make it happy and joyful. Right knowledge leads to righteous deeds. Our great sages and gurus of Vedic lore have passed on such knowledge in a continous flow through generations. It is for us to protect such treasure and reap the benefits of it through guided practice. It is also our responsibility to pass it on to future generations with purity and care. "Prajna is an effort in this direction".
The first module is aimed at understanding the daily activities and also annual festivals.
Prerequisites
Any student 4 years or older is welcome to join this module.
Course Objectives
In this module the students will:
- Learn how to pronounce Sanskrit vowels and consonant sounds. (familiarity with vocabulary)
- Learn bhajans (Adisesha, Hari Narayana, Srinivasa Govinda, Krishnanada, Govinda Jai Jai, Radhe Radhe).
- Learn to chant important slokas for every day use – slokas for showing gratitude to Nature and God, removing hindrances, excelling in studies, improving memory skills, improving health etc.
- Introduction to avatars of Lord Vishnu
- Learn about sages(Rishis) and their contributions to the mankind.
- Learn about famous devotees.
- Discover the traditions and culture of Vedic Lineage.
- Understand the importance of Festivals and functions in family and community.
- Learn basic Yoga and meditation.
Module 2 – "Twilight Prayers"
Overview
The feeling with which one wakes up in the morning has an impact on the rest of the day. It i simportant to make sure that the feelings and dreams remain pleasant at all times. It is possible through prayer. This second module is a collection of few prayers given by our great gurus. There are eight stotras clusteres in this prayer, which bestow a specific benefit to those who chant it.

In this module the students will learn to chant:
- Haryashtakam – Eliminates the inner impurities
- Sri Krushna:shtakam - Beautifies thoughts
- Pancha:yudha Stho:thram - Energizes us
- Sloka Dvayam or Gaje:ndra Mo:kshanam - Eliminates bad dreams
- Sloka Trayam - Synchronises our thoughts, deed, and word
- Parathva:di Panchakam - Enlightens us with the five forms of God
- Parama:rtha Slo:ka Dvayam - Fixes our goal towards eternal bliss
- learn stories related to Matrhu Devobhava and Pithru Devobhava (devotion to mother & father)
- Discover the traditions and culture of Vedic Lineage – Level 2
- Practice Meditation, Yoga and sing bhajans
- Participate in activities related to classroom learning
Module 3
Overview
In this course, the students will learn Hayagriva Sthothram, Goda Chathusloki and Kantha Chathusloki, guru parampara, Lakshmi ashtotharam, Stories related to Acharya Devobhava and Sneham(friendship), about Sages and their contributions, festivals, stories of devotees, Community Service, bhajans, and meditation

In this module the students will:

- Learn Hayagriva Sthothram, Goda Chathusloki , Kantha Chathusloki, guru prampara and Lakshmi ashotharam
- Learn Stories related to Acharya Devobhava and Sneham

Module 4 – "A Voyage Towards Victory!" (Arjuna Visha:da Yo:gaha)
Overview
First chapter of Bhagavadgitha talks about the dilemma in which man exists. Arjuna was caught up with sorrow by seeing hi sfriends and relatives, whether to fight or not and be killed by them. But, both were not his options. He got confused and surrendered to Lord Krushna.

- Learn Srimad Bhagavad Gi:ta's first chapter – Arjuna vishada yo:gaha
- Sri Adithya Hrudayam
- Learn Stories related to Gratitude, Jnanam and Maata Theeru

- Learn about sages and their contributions to the mankind – Level 2
- Practice Meditation and Yoga
- Participate in activities related to classroom learning
Module 5 – "ABCs of Bliss" (Sa:nkhya Yo:gaha)
Overview
The second chapter again begins with the same sorrow. But it is now focused towards Bhishma:charya and his beloved guru Dr:ona. To make Arjuna realize his duties and responsibilities, Krushna started preaching Bhagavadgitha. The core of this celestial song starts from 12th sloka of 2nd chapter and it goes upto 66th sloka of 18th chapter. 2nd chapter is the quintessence of whole Bhagavadgitha.
