History Of NewJersey Chapter

JET USA, INC., was incorporated in 1994, in the State of Illinois as, a Non Profit Organization. JET-NJ a chapter of JET USA, INC was established in 1999.

In 2001 Smt.Vijaya Allakki started music class as an activity of JET-NJ chapter. JET USA, NJ chapter started its first Learning Center in the summer of 2003, Prajna a series of classes developed to learn about Vedic knowledge and culture was established by HH Sri Sri Sri chinna jeeyar Swamiji in Plainsboro,NJ. Prajna which started as one center now has about 5 centers in NJ alone a many more country wide.

In Aug, 2008 on the auspicious day of Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji’s Tirunakshtram (100th birthday) NJ devotees were blessed to have their own place for Prajna. The place was named as Jeeyar Ashramam. From that day on we are fortunate to witness all the great and sacred things happening such as Sudarshana homams, Swamiji’s visits, celebrating the tirunakshtrams of our beloved a:charyas Sri Ramanuja, Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Also taking part in the festival celebrations and numerous community functions organized to celebrate special occasions that involve all devotees.
